Behind the terrace sits the snug/library, which has a TV/DVD player as well as a plentiful collection of books. Behind the snug is a WC and a laundry-room complete with washing machine and tumble-drier. Adjoining the snug are two double-bedrooms, with super king-size beds, a shared bathroom with shower and a separate WC. One of the rooms has a balcony which connects it to the front terrace.

On the first floor is the luxurious master bedroom, which faces south and commands superb vistas. The room has an en-suite. Across the corridor is the final bedroom, which is a decent size but has height restrictions. This room is suitable for a couple or 4 children, as the superking bed can be opened up into two singles, and there is a double sofabed. The room also has an en-suite shower and WC.

The villa is very baby/family friendly. There are two high chairs and a cot, plus lots of toys, puzzles and books to entertain the children. There is an extensive DVD collection too. In the basement, there is a table-tennis table, a darts board and yoga mats, if anyone needs to escape the midday sun.

Outside, the villa has a balcony which runs along the front of the house. The 12m x 5m swimming pool is found on the south-side of the house, running east-west. There is plenty of wooden-decking around the pool. The owners have installed gates and fencing around the decking area for child safety. In a shaded area behind the house, there is a boules court so you can compete with the locals in the village later on! Next to the boules court is a gas BBQ. The garden is the owners’ passion and has been recently planted, using locally sourced plants.

This villa is only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the village of Claviers. Here you’ll find several excellent restaurants, as well a shop and a bar perfect for sitting outside, watching village life and enjoying an aperitif.

Local attractions include the gorgeous vineyards towards Le Muy, Les Gorges du Verdon/Lac de Sainte Croix and the many beautiful hill-top villages synonymous with the area. Further afield you’ll find opportunities to go cycling, hiking, or play golf. If you love the beach, the coast and St Tropez is 1hr 15 mins drive away.

Claviers is very close to Bargemon, a typical Provençal village in the French department of VAR that lies at 500 meters altitude and has about 1400 inhabitants. Surrounded by beautiful nature, vineyards and olive trees, this place is the ideal base for a wonderful holiday.

For both the beach lover and the nature lover there are plenty of possibilities. Visit one of the most beautiful villages of France, many of the “Les plus beaux villages de France” are nearby, possible to combine this with a visit to one of the local markets in the area.

Walking: In the region there are several beautiful routes, both for beginners and for the more experienced hiker.

Bicycles: There is a possibility to rent a mountain bike or e-bike in the neighburghood, different bike tours are possible by following the indicated routes.

RATES

From 1950€ to 4900€/Weekly depending on the season

The rental price includes water and electricity. Bed linen, bath towels and one small towel per person are included. Swimming pool towels are also included but must not leave the premises.

Final cleaning is 250€ and must be paid in cash at check-in.

A minimum stay of 7 nights is required during high season (June to September).

Dogs are allowed with the prior approval of the Owner.

Breakfast is possible for an additional cost and is served on the terrace of Mas La Jaïna, located in between Claviers and Bargemon.

Inventory and guarantee

Only bookings from persons aged 18 or older will be accepted.

Only those included in the booking are permitted to stay at the holiday home and it may only be occupied by the number of guests specified at the time of reservation unless prior agreement from the Owner.

The holiday home will be left clean and tidy by the Tenant at the end of the stay.

Damage, defects or missing items must be reported directly to the owner by the Tenant.

In the event of a later arrival of the Tenant, or early termination of the stay, the rental price will remain the same and no refunds will be issued.

Payments

Payments for the villa must be paid in full to secure the reservation unless prior arrangements are made with the property Owner.

If the Tenant is more than 7 days late with the payment, then the property Owner is entitled to terminate the contract immediately and without notice and let the property to someone else.

The security deposit must be paid 1 week prior to arrival and will be refunded within 7 days after departure.

Cancellation policy

The Tenant may terminate the contract at any time.
Subject to time left prior to the date of arrival, the Tenant will either receive a full refund, part refund or no refund.

• Up to 60 days before the arrival: Full refund.
• Between 60 days and 30 days before arrival: 50% refund.
• Between 30 days prior to arrival and the day of arrival: No refund.
